(Backup) LoC, HardRock, Ford's Theater, Museum of Natural History Day 6 July 28

Again we got up leisurely and left for DC around 9:30. We got of at Capitol South to go see the Library of Congress and try to check out a book.  The kids stayed in the readers room while Greg and I went to the Rare book collection room. He looked at a book from Jefferson 's collection and I checked out a visit from St. Nicholas from 

   Our next stop was lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe.  I even got a souvenir mason jar.  Next door was the Ford's theater so we got tickets and went through the the museum and tour. Camden really enjoyed the history part. 

   It is as close to 4:00 so we headed to the Museum of Natural History. The boys loved exploring the teen room and Cayson loved the Gems and Mineral display. We met Sandy and the boys and took the metro back home for a hot dog and hamburger cook out. Sandy left tonight with the boys and Ron will leave early tomorrow. We hope to be on the road tomorrow by 10:00. What an amazing and fun trip!!
