Day 16: Coquille, Oregon

July 3

Another early morning up and leaving the campground by 8:15.  Mom was not feeling great today.  She is fighting a cold and did not sleep well so I did all the driving today.   The roads were truly treacherous. 

  We were only a few miles down the road when we met Paul Bunyan.

We drove up 101 along the coast the entire way to visit our family friends Bill and Carol Movius.  The drive although very curvy was beautiful as we drove along the coast almost the entire 3 1/2 hours. 

Once we arrived in Coquille we first stopped to see our friends. 

And then headed over to our campground, River's Edge RV Park. 

I was so excited to have my friend Carla Nash visit. We met and went out for ice cream. 

In the evening we went back over to Carol and Bill's house for a delicious dinner. 

Tomorrow will be a long drive day to Seattle, Washington to visit my brother for a couple days. It will be nice to stay in one place for a few days !!!
