Day 23: Yellowstone National Park

July 10

Another fun night with Camden getting sick and Cayson up for sippy cups but luckily I didn't get out of bed until almost 8:00. We had a nice breakfast and headed to the Yellowstone Visitors Center.  

We then decided to do the Grand Loop of Yellowstone which is about a 3 and a half hour drive with out stops.

Our First  destination  was of West Thumb. It had beautiful geysers. Before we made it that far we stopped at the General store to buy sweatshirt. It was a chilly 56 today.

Our next big stop was Old Faithful. We are a picnic lunch then waited until it erupted at 2:20. 

 From Old Faithful we enjoyed the scenery making several short stops until we got to Canyon Village. 

Canyon Village, otherwise known as the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone was amazing. 

After the canyon we headed back to our campsite viewing several animals along the way. 

We had some pretty tired kiddos at the end of the trip. 

Chicken noodle soup for dinner, card games then off to bed. Tomorrow is our longest drive yet 8 to 11 hours to Mount Rushmore.
