Sleeping in lasted until 7:00 this morning then I actually had time for a 3 mile run before a French toast and bacon breakfast. We weren't moving very fast today and decided to get my car washed and check out a railroad museum before heading to Mount Rushmore. We actually had to run my car through the car wash twice thanks to Yellowstone's road construction.
Cayson loved looking at the trains.
It only took 12 minutes to get to Mount Rushmore from our campground. The boys were amazing by the size of the rock sculpture.
Cayson really enjoyed the museum, especially the simulation for blowing up different parts of the mountain to make Mount Rushmore.
And running up and down the Ampitheater stairs.
After visiting Rushmore, Mom and I went into town while the boys enjoyed swimming all afternoon. Mom and I found some great metal sculptures downtown.
Right after dinner it got cloudy and....
Yep, the white balls on the ground are hail. After dinner We enjoyed eating popcorn and
M & M's while watching Robin Hood. Tomorrow we have a 5 1/2 hour drive to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
